Nespresso lovers will be delighted:
From the 4th of November, SPAR has launched four exclusive
varieties of the finest Italian Espresso brand 'Caffè Vergnano'.
The Espresso capsules are suitable for all Nespresso machines and
produced by an Italian family business in Turin. They are available
in all 1,400 SPAR, EUROSPAR and INTERSPAR stores in Austria. The
price is up to 23% lower than at Nespresso.
"I am proud that we finally managed
to enter this area despite the Nespresso selling monopoly which has
lasted many years. As the first Austrian trading organisation we
are offering a low-priced real alternative to Nespresso
capsules.
The capsules are available in
all SPAR, EUROSPAR and INTERSPAR stores", emphasized Dr. Gerhard
Drexel, CEO of SPAR Austria. The many SPAR customers with a
Nespresso machine at home or in the office can buy the capsules
instore throughout the country.

The family business 'Casa del Caffè Vergnano' is
responsible for the production of the high quality coffee capsules,
recently introduced onto the Italian market. Since 1882, the
traditional company has been in existence, now exporting to 160
countries worldwide, and known for coffee enjoyment at the highest
level.

Four varieties of the 'Caffè Vergnano' brand in a 10-pack
are available at all SPAR, EUROSPAR and INTERSPAR stores, varying
from a flowery and fresh-fruity coffee Arabica, a sweet Cremoso, a
particularly creamy Intenso and the decaffeinated variety Dec. With
a retail price of only €2.99, the products are up to 23% lower in
price than original Nespresso capsules.
