On this page you can find the route description to the
International SPAR office and to Intergroup Trading BV, both
situated in the same office in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
By car
Coming from UTRECHT
- Follow the A2 to Amsterdam
- At the end of the A2 turn right at the traffic lights into the
President Kennedylaan
- Drive straight ahead passing several traffic lights (road
becomes the Amsteldijk) until you reach a T-junction
- Turn left onto the Stadhouderskade
- Follow the directions on how to find the SPAR International
office in central Amsterdam
Coming from AMERSFOORT
- From the A1 take the A10 (ring Amsterdam, road East), direction
Den Haag
- Take exit S112 "Centrum" and turn left at the traffic
lights
- At the roundabout (Amstelstation) take the second turning and
follow the traffic sign for the RAI
- Cross the river Amstel and turn right at traffic lights
(Amsteldijk)
- Drive straight ahead until you reach a T-junction and turn left
onto the Stadhouderskade
- Follow the directions on how to find the SPAR International
office in central Amsterdam
Coming from SCHIPHOL/DEN HAAG
- From the A4 take A10 (ring Amsterdam, road South), direction
Amersfoort
- take exit S112 "Centrum" and turn left at the traffic
lights
- Follow the route as 'Coming from Amersfoort' as described
above
Finding Our Office
- Take the second street to the right (Frederiksplein) straight
on to Utrechtsestraat. At the end of this street turn right (beware
of passing trams). At the first crossing, turn left and ride along
the canal (Amstel). At the next crossing follow the road, which
bends to the right. You are now entering Rokin street. Due to
construction work you can't park in front of our office. Therefore
the best way to park is the Bijenkorf carpark, for which you can
follow the signs. Follow the road to Dam square and go straight
ahead past the square and then you see a big department store,
called Bijenkorf, on your right hand side. Immediately after the
department store turn right. There you will find the parking garage
of the Bijenkorf which is open 24 hours a day.
- When you exit the parking garage, you go straight ahead, this
street is called Damrak
- Cross the Dam square where the Palace is on your right and
Hotel Krasnapolski on your left, (this street is now called Rokin).
Go straight ahead after ± 200 metres you will find our officeon the
left hand side of the road, Rokin number 101.
By Plane or Train
From Schiphol Airport you can take a taxi or go by train which
actually may be the easiest way.
- Trains depart about every 10 minutes to Amsterdam Central
Station (this takes about 20 minutes).
- From the station it is a short walk to the SPAR office (about
10 min.). When you come out of the main station building exit, you
go straight ahead, this street is called Damrak
- Cross the Dam square where the Palace is on your right and
Hotel Krasnapolski on your left
- This street is now called Rokin, go straight ahead after ± 200
metres you will find our office with a SPAR sign at the left side
of the road, Rokin number 101.
- From the Central Station you can also take the tram - lines 4,
16, 24 or 25 (about 5 minutes), at the 2nd stop "SPUI" you exit the
tram and you will find our office on the opposite side of the
road.
